Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee apparently thinks the United States Constitution was ratified sometime in the 1600′s.

During a speech on the floor of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, the Texas Democrat referenced the beginning of the country and said: “We have lasted some 400 years, operating under a constitution that clearly defines what is constitutional and what is not.”

For the record, the Constitution is 226 years old. It was signed on September 17, 1787.

Obama, Biden to Meet Central Banker Aligned with Ukraine’s Fascists

Arseniy Yatsenyuk was handpicked by the U.S. State Department and the color revolution NGOs

Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the former central banker installed as the “pro-Western” interim prime minister of Ukraine, arrived in Washington on Wednesday. He will meet with President Obama and Vice President Biden and will also meet with members of Congress, the IMF, the World Bank and will address the UN Security Council.

Yatsenyuk is aligned with neofascist nationalists. One of Ukraine’s installed vice prime ministers, Oleksandr Sych, is a member of the Svoboda Party, formerly the Social National Party of Ukraine. It has roots going back to a collaboration between Germany’s Nazis and Ukrainian nationalists during the Second World War. Shortly after the coup in February, Svoboda Party members were appointed to the posts of vice prime minister, minister of education, minister of agrarian policy and food supplies, and minister of ecology and natural resources.

Oleh Tyahnybok is the leader of Svoboda. He was expelled from the Our Ukraine parliamentary faction after he insisted a “Moscow-Jewish mafia” runs Ukraine and the Ukrainian Insurgent Army “fought against the Moskali [an ethnic slur for Russians], Germans, Kikes and other scum who wanted to take away our Ukrainian state.”

Andriy Parubiy, the founder of the Social National Party of Ukraine, heads up the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council. The Deputy Secretary of National Security is Dmytro Yarosh, the leader of the Right Sector, the brownshirts of the Euromaidan coup. According to historian Timothy Stanley, Right Sector “flies the old flag of the Ukrainian Nazi collaborators at its rallies.”

Yarosh is not shy about his desire to foment a fascist revolution in Ukraine. Andriy Tarasenko, the chairman of Right Sector, said last week the street-fighting group comprised largely of neo-Nazi Dynamo Kiev soccer hooligans will strive to become a political party. “Dmytro Yarosh will run for president,” Tarasenko told Reuters. “We are preparing for a congress, at which the party will be renamed, and we will participate in the elections in Kyiv, the elections in all local councils, towns and villages.”

The establishment media has largely ignored or minimized the fascist taint of the coup government is Kyiv. Obama, Biden, and the United States Congress are tasked with advancing the agenda of the financial elite. Ukraine, strategically located on the Russian border, is the keystone to turning Eastern Europe over to the European Union and its cartel of international bankers. The cartel has installed fascists in the past, most notably Hitler who enjoyed the support of Wall Street and the transnational corporations of the day. In fact, the European Union itself is a Nazi and corporatist contrivance.

“According to a report in Kommersant-Ukraine, the finance ministry of Washington’s stooges in Kiev who are pretending to be a government has prepared an economic austerity plan that will cut Ukrainian pensions from $160 to $80 so that Western bankers who lent money to Ukraine can be repaid at the expense of Ukraine’s poor,” writes Paul Craig Roberts. “It is Greece all over again.”

The “austerity plan will cut social services, funds for education, layoff government workers, devalue the currency, thus raising the prices of imports which include Russian gas, thus electricity, and open Ukrainian assets to takeover by Western corporations… Ukraine’s agriculture lands will pass into the hands of American agribusiness.”

Arseniy Yatsenyuk is in Washington to advance this agenda. He was handpicked by the U.S. State Department and the color revolution NGOs precisely to be a key actor in the next scene of the bankster orchestrated transformation of Ukraine and its subsumption by the European Union and its banking elite overlords.

Obama’s popularity hits all time low ahead of midterm elections

Obama's popularity hits all time low ahead of midterm elections

As the November midterm elections inch closer, President Barack Obama is suffering his worst approval rating yet in a new nationwide poll.

According to a survey conducted by the Wall Street Journal and NBC News, the president’s approval rating has dipped from 43 percent in January to 41 percent in March, the lowest number recorded in the poll so far. Fifty-four percent disapproved of Obama’s performance.

Notably, these new numbers were powered primarily by discontent in the president’s own party, where he is experiencing a high of 20 percent disapproval. Obama’s approval rating is only four points higher than former President George W. Bush before the 2006 midterms, when Republicans ultimately lost control of the House and Senate.

The results have increased speculation that Democrats may lose their majority in the Senate, and have, at least temporarily, diminished the possibility of retaking the House of Representatives from Republicans. According to the poll, about 33 percent of respondents said their midterm vote would signal displeasure with Obama, while 24 percent said it would suggest approval. Another 41 percent said Obama would play no role in their decision.

According to Republican pollster Bill McInturff, who helped conduct the survey with Democratic pollster Fred Yang, the results suggest that Obama himself may become a drag on Democratic candidates in general.

“The president is being taken off the field as a Democratic positive,” McInturff told the Wall Street Journal. “These numbers would suggest that, beyond his behind-the-scenes fundraising, it’s hard to imagine the president on the road and hard to imagine where he would campaign.”

“The wind is in our face,” acknowledged Yang. “There is an advantage for Republicans right now.”

Still, the WSJ/NBC poll carried some bad news for Republicans as well, who remained more unpopular than Obama and Democrats in general with only a 27 percent favorability rating. According to NBC News, frustration with Congress and lawmakers in general remained high, with the majority of respondents saying they would not only vote to defeat their own incumbent representative, but also all the others currently holding office.

“What makes 2014 so different [from past cycles] is that the voters are in a rebellious state against the whole Congress and the establishment in Washington,” Yang said. “Both parties are in jeopardy.”

“Drunks,” “Bullies,” “Traitors,” “Fringe,” and Other Things Mitch McConnell Has Called Conservatives

“Drunks,” “Bullies,” “Traitors,” “Fringe,” and Other Things Mitch McConnell Has Called Conservatives

By: Erick Erickson (Diary) | March 11th, 2014 at 04:30 AM | 78

Mitch McConnell is doing his best to walk back his comments about conservatives. He told the New York Times he intended to “crush them everywhere.” Now he says he was only talking about the Jim DeMint founded Senate Conservatives Fund and its candidates — candidates like Ben Sasse supported by Paul Ryan, Mike Lee, Club for Growth, RedState, National Review, and others.

Actually, Mitch McConnell has been pretty open in the past about his contempt for conservatives. He has referred to conservatives and the outside groups they fund, as traitors, bullies, drunks, and fringe. He claims conservatives “tear up every bar they walk into,” and he wants to “punch” the tea party “in the nose.”

Those are his words. And he has been pretty consistent over time. Back in 2009, McConnell’s associates famously put James Dobson in a terribly embarrassing spot when they lied about Rand Paul’s record. McConnell sent staff into Kentucky to defeat Rand Paul.

McConnell now says he only meant he wanted to crush the Senate Conservatives Fund, but back in 2009 and 2010, the Senate Conservatives Fund was the group standing with conservatives and Pat Toomey, Marco Rubio, Mike Lee, and Rand Paul against Mitch McConnell’s supported Arlen Specter, Charlie Crist, Bob Bennett, and Trey Grayson.

It is true that a number of McConnell’s remarks have focused on the Senate Conservatives Fund, but his remarks have also targeted groups like FreedomWorks, Club For Growth, and others. He is systematically targeting conservative organizations that do not follow the National Republican Senatorial Committee’s lead. What’s worse, he is enlisting a bunch of useful idiots on the right to do damage control for him and to protect him.

If you think Mitch McConnell needs protection and saving, consider that if McConnell had his way Trey Grayson would be in the Senate instead of Rand Paul; Charlie Crist would be in the Senate instead of Marco Rubio, David Dewhurst would be in the Senate instead of Ted Cruz; Arlen Specter would be in the Senate instead of Pat Toomey; and Bob Bennett would be in the Senate instead of Mike Lee.

When McConnell attacks FreedomWorks, Senate Conservatives Fund, Club for Growth, Madison Project, and even the tea party — he is attacking the conservatives who have saved the Republican Party from itself. He is attacking you. So you should defeat him.

13 Democrats, Including Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s Daughter, Charged with Embezzling Millions from Charity

13 Democrats, Including Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s Daughter, Charged with Embezzling Millions from Charity

Leave it to the sleazy down-home Democrats of the Midwest to steal more than $16 Million from various charities, including one for those suffering from AIDS. Also not so surprising, several of the scammers have ties to President Barack Obama, including one who happens to be related to President Obama’s friend and former pastor Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright.

The U.S. attorney’s office in Springfield has been busy the past few years investigating a variety of fraud schemes involving state grants. Thirteen people have been charged so far, six who have pleaded guilty.

Two of them have ties to President Barack Obama. One is the daughter of his controversial former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Another was chief of staff to Obama’s longtime friend Eric E. Whitaker when Whitaker was Illinois’ public health chief.

In all, prosecutors are alleging a total of $16 million in fraud involving state health or commerce department grants and contracts.

Why hasn’t this news about 13 prominent Democrats been circulating among the main stream media? Who knows? Maybe it’s another example of liberal corruption. Maybe they don’t think the story is “national news.” To me the most likely scenario is the media doesn’t want to sully the Democrat brand with these philandering monsters.

wrightandsonWhat about those connections to President Obama? One is the daughter of Jeremiah Wright and the other is the daughter of Obama mentor Danny Davis.

Defendant: Jeri L. Wright, daughter of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright

Charges: Money laundering and making a false statement before a grand jury

Details: Wright, described as a “close associate and friend” of Regina and Ronald Evans, is accused of aiding the Evanses in their money-laundering scheme.

And…

Defendant: Quinshaunta R. Golden, former Illinois Department of Public Health chief of staff

Charges: Bribery/theft, mail fraud and obstruction of justice

Details: Golden, a niece of U.S. Rep. Danny K. Davis (D-Ill.), is accused of pocketing about $433,000 in kickbacks on health department contracts and grants that she oversaw.Just goes to show you – you really do need to keep your hands on your wallet when there is a Democrat around.

Snowden leak: NSA plans to infect ‘millions’ of computers

Snowden leak: NSA plans to infect ‘millions’ of computers

Yet more previously secret surveillance operations waged by the United States National Security Agency were made public Wednesday morning thanks to leaked documents supplied by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden.

The files — published first by The Intercept this week and dissected over the course of a 3,000-word article attributed to journalists Glenn Greenwald and Ryan Gallagher — bring to light a number of previously unreported programs undertaken by the secretive US spy agency, including operations that have given the NSA the potential to infect millions of computers around the world by relying on malicious software that’s sent to targets through surreptitious means.

In recent years, however, the NSA has reportedly made adjustments to these operations that enable them to by carried out automatically without the direct aid of human spies — a decision that experts say is undermining the internet as it is known today,

“Top-secret documents reveal that the National Security Agency is dramatically expanding its ability to covertly hack into computers on a mass scale by using automated systems that reduce the level of human oversight in the process,” the journalists wrote.

That automated system named “TURBINE,” they said later, is designed to “allow the current implant network to scale to large size (millions of implants) by creating a system that does automated control implants by groups instead of individually.”

According to The Intercept, the NSA has escalated offensive cyber operations significantly since 2004 in order to spy on targets, and has used an array of tactics and “implants” that were previously undisclosed in order to carry out these missions.

The website reported that the agency’s British counterpart, the GCHQ, “appears to have played an integral role” with regards to developing these implants, which have grown in number exponentially in recent years from only 100 or so to tens-of-thousands, according to the report.

These implants, the journalists wrote, allow the NSA “to break into targeted computers and to siphon out data from foreign Internet and phone networks.” They can also be combined with a number of specialized plugins to provide analysts with additional surveillance options, the likes of which could likely leave many thinking staying secure on the Web seem impossible after reading the Greenwald and Gallagher report.

In one example cited by The Intercept, the NSA disguised itself as a fake Facebook server in order to intercept connections attempted to be made between account holders and the social networking site’s real computers. Instead, however, the NSA sends those unsuspecting Facebook users to a real site embedded with malware that then has the ability to infect that target’s computer.

That program — QUANTUMHAND — became operational in October 2010, The Intercept reported, after it successfully allowed the NSA to gain access to “about a dozen targets.”

A spokesperson for Facebook told The Intercept he had “no evidence of this alleged activity,” but QUANTUMHAND is far from the only program that, thanks to Edward Snowden, have linked the NSA to relying on already established websites and programs to pry into the communications of targets.

In another example, The Intercept included images from an internal NSA slideshow presentation that indicates surveillance missions can be waged by the agency against targeted email addresses, IP addresses and the “cookies” created by websites like Google, Yahoo, YouTube and countless others to track visitors, often for advertisement and user experience purposes.

Ashkan Soltani, a DC-based independent security researcher, remarked on Twitter that the information in that presentation “looks a lot like a catalog of ad tracking tech.” Instead of being used by the likes of Google to give YouTube users a more “personalized” browsing experience, however, the NSA and GCHQ can use these selectors to spy on the habits of unknowing subjects of investigation.

Other programs disclosed by Mr. Snowden and described by The Intercept include CAPTIVATEDAUDIENCE (“used to take over a targeted computer’s microphone and record conversations”, GUMFISH (“can covertly take over a computer’s webcam and snap photographs”), FOGGYBOTTOM (“records logs of Internet browsing histories and collects login details and passwords”), GROK (“used to log keystrokes”) and SALVAGERABBIT to exfiltrate data from removable flash drives connected to a target’s computer.

To infect computers with these implants, The Intercept said, the NSA can avoid trying to trick targets into going to fake websites by instead spamming them with unsolicited email containing links to malware.

“If we can get the target to visit us in some sort of web browser, we can probably own them,” an NSA employee wrote in one of the previously secret documents. “The only limitation is the ‘how.’”

The Intercept’s latest report was published only two days after Snowden spoke remotely to the audience of the SXSW Interactive tech conference in Austin, Texas and urged attendees to use encryption — a tactic, he said, that is still relatively successful with regards to thwarting snooping like the kind carried out by the NSA.

Encryption, Snowden said on Monday, makes it“very difficult for any sort of mass surveillance”to occur.

If The Intercept’s report is anywhere close to representative of the NSA’s actual capabilities though, then the agency’s operations are expanding regardless and relying on new tricks and techniques to track down and monitor persons of interest in the name of national security.

“When they deploy malware on systems,” malware expert Mikko Hypponen told The Intercept, “they potentially create new vulnerabilities in these systems, making them more vulnerable for attacks by third parties.”
