A gunman entered a home in the Brighton Park neighborhood Wednesday afternoon and shot five people, killing three of them and leaving the other two in critical condition, police said.
Police and paramedics were called to the house near Pershing Road and Albany Avenue shortly before 3 p.m.
Two men, 18 and 19, were shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene. Another man or boy was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and pronounced dead there, police said. His age was not available.
Another man, 18, was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition and a 19-year-old man was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
