A man in a pickup truck killed eight people when he drove onto the West Side bike path in lower Manhattan Tuesday afternoon — and then shouted “Allahu Akbar” as he got out of the car with fake guns, police sources said.

The suspected terror attack happened around 3:15 p.m., when a man in a flatbed pickup truck from Home Depot veered onto the bike path at West St., a few blocks north of Chambers St., police said.

The suspect, who was shot by police, then plowed his car into up to 23 people on the path, killing eight and injuring more than a dozen others, according to cops.

He continued driving south and hit another car, then got out and displayed “imitation firearms,” police said.

The man then shouted, “Allahu Akbar,” according to police sources.

Witnesses described a scene of terror, as people fled for safety.

Jesus! A car just ran over 2 people and then crashed into a school bus. I see two dead bodies and citibikes on the floor destroyed,” a Twitter user wrote.

“What happened was there was a car crash… he came out of one of the cars. He had two guns,” a 14-year-old Stuyvesant HS student said. “We thought it was a Halloween thing. He started running around the highway. There was another guy in a green shirt that was chasing him around.”

“I heard four to six gunshots — everybody starts running,” she added.

Video of the scene shows at least two people lying limp on the street. Photos show a smashed-up Home Depot rental truck and two mangled Citi Bikes.

Counter-terror police were searching the truck for explosives.

“Oh my god I just heard gun shots and ran with my dog. Downtown. F–k,” Josh Groban tweeted.

Police shut down the FDR Drive south of 34th Street to rush victims to Bellevue Hospital.

Schumer Warns President Trump Not To Cross Mueller Or Democrats Will Pounce

Schumer and subversive anti-American Democrats are Circling the Wagons around their dirty cop Robert Mueller, warning President Trump not to respond to his pointless…

Swamp rat and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) issued a warning to President Trump not to interfere with the Mueller witch hunt now that his former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, has been staked out as bait and charged with crimes completely unrelated to either the campaign or the false pretense which facilitated Mueller’s supposed mission.

Sleazy Schumer issued a statement saying, “The President must not, under any circumstances, interfere with the special counsel’s work in any way. If he does so, Congress must respond swiftly, unequivocally, and in a bipartisan way to ensure that the investigation continues.”

Schumer didn’t  explain why a probe into nothing following other fruitless probes into the same nothing should be treated as being either legitimate or so important by Congress. He did add a laughable bit of his characteristic hypocrisy, though, saying, “The rule of law is paramount in America and the investigation must be allowed to proceed unimpeded.”

How can any Democrat make such a statement with Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin still roaming the world, peddling her crappy books? No one but a morally bankrupt Democrat or RINO would even consider it, but for them it’s a natural, daily occurrence.

One of the Chief Inquisitors of the Congressional branch of the witch hunt, Senator Mark Warner (D-VA), who actually heads the Intelligence Committee behind his puppet, Senator Richard Burr (RINO-NC),  joined in declaring it is “imperative” to protect the “independence of the special counsel,” which includes his carte blanche ability to conduct rogue investigations into every aspect of any individual or entity in the United States without justification or oversight.

Of course the special counsel is not independent. He works for the globalists attacking America and President Trump, his payments are just well-hidden, if they’ve been made yet. The Democrats would have much less interest in protecting an actual impartial and objective investigation. Their wholly owned tool of political sabotage and subversion is a valuable asset that must be defended.

Apparently fearful that the indictments show Mueller, as well as both Intelligence Committees and the FBI, DOJ and NSA investigations have turned up absolutely zero in the way of evidence, the subversive traitors infiltrating our government are demanding solidarity.

Warner added, “Members of Congress … must also make clear to the president that issuing pardons to any of his associates or to himself would be unacceptable, and result in immediate, bipartisan action by Congress. Pardons for what, Warner? There are no crimes.

Further illustrating the degree to which naked partisanship is driving the Democrats in their efforts to overturn their 2016 election loss, feeble-minded Nancy Pelosi is still pushing for a “bi-partisan” congressional snipe hunt to cover the very same ground the others have worn out, looking for the non-existent evidence of crimes that never took place on the GOP side of things.

She said,  “Even with an accelerating Special Counsel investigation inside the Justice Department, and investigations inside the Republican Congress, we still need an outside, fully independent investigation to expose Russia’s meddling in our election and the involvement of Trump officials.” There is no Trump collusion, as the lack of evidence indicates and no independent, impartial prosecutor.

If she’s so desperate for Russian collusion, there’s plenty of it on the Democrat side and it’s being laid right out in the open now. She and her comrades, Warner, Schumer and the rest of the anti-American Democrats, could direct their attention to their own transgressions and never again be lacking for someone or something to prosecute, based on actual, not theoretical evidence.

That won’t happen, they don’t want the truth or justice. As usual, they just want more power, more money, and the destruction of America.

My apologies to those of you with weak stomachs for the earlier use of the word “naked” in a sentence referencing Nancy Pelosi.

Rep Nunes – FBI and Obama Knew Who Paid For Fusion GPS Smear Dossier, Still Covering It Up

Rep Nunes cuts through the political noise, saying the FBI and Obama had to know the DNC and Clinton funded the Fusion GPS dossier. Obama’s OFA sent almost $1 million…

By Rick Wells

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep Devin Nunes (R-CA) joined Laura Ingraham Monday to discuss the stalled effort by his committee to get to the truth about much of the corruption in DC and the obstructionism by the DOJ,  which continues under Attorney General Sessions.

Nunes attempts to explain the complex situation in simple terms, noting that “there are a lot of moving parts.” He says, “We still have information from Fusion GPS that we need from the bank. We still have a whole host of information that we need from the Department of Justice and FBI that we hope to begin to get tomorrow.”

Nunes says, “We are just really at the beginning of unraveling questions that we’ve been asking since March. He says, “If people really believe the FBI did not know who paid for that dossier, I’ve got a bridge to sell you. There is no possible way that the FBI did not know who paid for that dossier. And yet month after month after month…”

Ingraham interrupts to ask who paid for it. Nunes doesn’t know, exasperatedly replying, “Is it just Comey or is it the whole FBI?” Ingraham reminds Rep Nunes, “What you’re saying about the FBI there, that’s quite a charge.” He replies, “Absolutely, this is the government out of control.”

He says, “It is not okay for us to ask since March, who paid for the dossier, what did you use the dossier for? And then it comes out, only because of subpoenas to the bank and the bank was going to have to produce the subpoenas and then they cut a deal.”

“We have a whole bunch of questions for Fusion GPS,” says Nunes. “We want to know were they being paid by Russia, were they paying Russians? We’re investigating this, we need the information. We have the FBI and other agencies who either didn’t tell us who paid for the dossier or didn’t know, which would be equally disturbing. But my guess is somebody over there knew who paid for that dossier.”

Withholding a verdict as to Mueller’s future, Nunes says, “What I see is we have Fusion GPS obstructing the investigation, the Democrats obstructing our investigation and the government, the executive branch obstructing our investigation.

Ingraham asks if Obama could have known about the dossier, and details the use of a chain of entities to hide the trail of those involved in its creation, the payments going to the law firm, then Fusion, then Steele to Russia.

She left out the part of OFA,  Obama’s political agitation organization, funneling $972,000 to that law firm, Perkins Coie, in April of 2016. That occurred at about the time the dossier was created. It would be out of character for the micromanaging pretend ‘president’ not to have known. He almost certainly colluded with Russia and Clinton in its production.

Nunes makes that point, saying, “I think it’s hard to believe that when ‘president’ Obama was being briefed on this dossier, that all of his intelligence people, the best intelligence agencies in the world, had no idea who paid for that information.

Yet another establishment insider has announced he won’t run for re-election in 2018 – Rep. Jeb Hensarling Won’t Run for Re-election in 2018

by MICHELLE MOONS 31 Oct 2017Washington, DC

WASHINGTON, DC — Yet another establishment insider has announced he won’t run for re-election in 2018, Republican Rep. Jeb Hensarling of Texas.

Tuesday afternoon, Washington Examiner Senior Political Correspondent David Drucker posted news of Hensarling’s retirement:

Screen Shot 2017-10-31 at 3.12.55 PM

House Financial Services Committee Chairman Hensarling issued a statement the same day regarding his retirement:

Today I am announcing that I will not seek reelection to the US Congress in 2018.  Although service in Congress remains the greatest privilege of my life, I never intended to make it a lifetime commitment, and I have already stayed far longer than I had originally planned.

Throughout this time, my family has graciously sacrificed for my service.  As the parents of two teenagers, Melissa and I know there are only a few years left before they leave and make their own way in life.  I want to be there for those years.  Since my term as Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee comes to an end next year, the time seems right for my departure.

Although I will not be running for reelection, there are 14 months left in my congressional term to continue the fight for individual liberty, free enterprise, and limited constitutional government – the causes for which I remain passionate.  Much work remains at the House Financial Services Committee in the areas of housing finance reform, regulatory relief, cyber security and capital formation to name just a few.  Furthermore, important work remains in the Congress as a whole – especially pro-growth tax reform.   I look forward to continuing this work on behalf of the people of the 5th District of Texas and all Americans.

I am sure we will continue communicating over the months to come, but please know how grateful I am for your help, support and friendship through the years.  I could not be more appreciative of the opportunity to serve our republic and of the trust you have placed in me to advance the principles we share.

In the span of just about a month, Hensarling becomes at least a fourth establishment Republican to either be ousted or announce they will not run for re-election in 2018.

September 26 was the day of a highly contentious Alabama Republican primary election between Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s hand-picked Senate appointee Luther Strange and grassroots insurgent Judge Roy Moore. Just hours before polls closed and Moore was declared the winner, establishment Sen. Bob Corker announced he would not seek re-election in 2018. In just one day, establishment picks Strange and Corker were out.

Just under a month later, vehement anti-Trump Senator Jeff Flake made a melodramatic lecture from the floor of the Senate, during which he announced he would not seek re-election in 2018. He admitted he could not win. Flake’s primary challenger Dr. Kelli Ward had already received accolades from President Donald Trump in a tweet that lauded her run against Flake.

Hensarling’s announcement that he will also not seek re-election comes just one week after Flake’s.

National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Steve Stivers reacted to the news of Hensarling’s retirement:

Jeb Hensarling has been a tremendous public servant for the people of Texas, most recently as the Chairman of the Financial Services Committee on which I am privileged to serve.

Jeb’s strong grasp of policy and his strong conservative principles have been an invaluable asset to the Republican Conference in his eight terms as a Member of the House of Representatives. As Jeb enters this next chapter of life, my colleagues and I wish him the very best in whatever path he chooses to take.

In March, as one of Speaker Paul Ryan’s attempts are repealing and replacing Obamacare failed, Hensarling offered what Reuters described as “effusive” praise of Ryan. In April Hensarling joined Ryan and several other Representatives on a trip to Europe with the stated goal of “strengthening economic and security ties with our NATO partners.” Hensarling has been called on and floated as a possibility in the past to run a challenge to John Boehner, and later Ryan, for the position of Speaker of the House, but has refused to do so. In November 2016 the Texas Tribune called Hensarling “one of Ryan’s closest friends in the House.”

DEVELOPING: 200 Dead In North Korea

By John S. Roberts – October 31, 2017

200 people are feared to be dead in North Korea.

Why?

Underground tunnels at a nuclear test site have apparently collapsed.

This is devastating.

Here’s the scoop…

From Fox News:

About 200 people are feared dead in North Korea after underground tunnels at a nuclear test site that was feared to be unstable reportedly collapsed, crushing 100 people in the initial cave-in and 100 others when the tunnels again gave way on top of rescuers.

The collapse at the Punggye-ri test site on Oct. 10 occurred while people were doing construction on the underground tunnel, Japan’s Asahi TV reported, citing a source in North Korea. The television station also said North Korea’s sixth nuclear test on Sept. 3 most likely caused the tunnel to crumble and created serious damage in the region.

No officials have confirmed the Japanese TV station’s claims, but experts have feared for more than a month that the test site was on the verge of crumbling since the nuclear blast. North Korea said it detonated a hydrogen bomb, calling it a “perfect success.” It was the country’s most powerful bomb tested to date and the blast was reportedly 10 times more powerful than the nuclear bomb that was dropped over Hiroshima at the end of World War II.

Telegraph has more:

Nam Jae-chol, the head of South Korea’s Meteorological Administration, warned in testimony before parliament on Monday that further tests at Punggye-ri could cause the mountain to collapse and release radioactivity into the environment.

“Based on our analysis of satellite imagery, we judge that there is a hollow space, which measures about 60 metres by 100 metres beneath Mount Matap”, he said. “Should another nuclear test take place, there is a possibility [of a collapse]”.

Chinese scientists have issued similar warnings, suggesting that nuclear falloutcould spread across “an entire hemisphere” if the mountain did collapse.

Well, nuclear fallout is something we can’t let happen – obviously.

It’s a shame so many people had to die due to the regime’s negligence.

Stay tuned.

We’ll update as necessary or if the death toll rises.

Tucker Carlson attacked by Podesta lawyers with “cease and desist” order

By Matt Palumbo, Contributor – October 31, 2017

Tony Podesta, founder of the Podesta Group, announced that he’d be stepping down from the firm yesterday after coming under investigation by special counsel Robert Muller.

The investigation into Podesta and his firm grew out of investigators’ examination of Paul Manafort’s finances. Manafort organized a PR campaign on behalf of a nonprofit called the European Centre for a Modern Ukraine, while Podesta Group was one of several firms that were paid to do work on the PR campaign to promote Ukraine in the U.S.

Not long after stepping down, the lobbyist was quick to pick a legal battle of his own, this one targeted at Fox News’ Tucker Carlson.

According to the Daily CallerTucker told his audience last night, “Podesta isn’t just complaining about us, he’s threatening us.”

He continued, saying that the letter, “demands that the show ‘immediately cease and desist disseminating false and misleading reports about Mr. Podesta and the Podesta group.’ It demands we retract and delete all our prior reporting on the Podesta group and warns that if we don’t do this, ‘Mr. Podesta may pursue legal action, including for damages in order to fully protect his rights.”

Carlson also said, “Podesta’s lawyer wasn’t trying to inform us of anything — but to threaten us, to shut down our reporting on his client. One lawyer we talked to earlier today said the Podesta people have used this tactic with others before, it’s common. It’s an effort to use fear to control press coverage. We’re not intimidated, we have ample evidence from Mueller’s indictment and from a number of confidential sources to paint a pretty clear picture of exactly what the Podesta Group was doing for years here in Washington. We’ll let the facts speak for themselves, and we’re confident the Mueller investigation will be revealing a lot more about his lobbying practices in the near future.”

During his segment, Carlson tweeted out the following:

Screen Shot 2017-10-31 at 2.35.53 PM

Tucker said he found the most amusing line of the letter to be the Podesta’s lawyer’s claim that “Paul Manafort did not work with the Podesta Group in its representation of the European center for a modern Ukraine.”

Tucker said it was obvious the lawyer had not read the Manafort indictment, which clearly stated otherwise.

So threatened by Carlson’s reporting, Podesta not only demands a retraction, he wants all prior reporting on him deleted from Fox’s archives.

Paranoid much?
