LeBron’s A Fan Of ‘March For Our Lives.’ But Then There Are These Videos . . .

By Hank Berrien

NBA superstar LeBron James has taken a liking to the gun control crowd; the day of the “March For Our Lives” he tweeted this:

As Caleb Hull noted at Independent Journal Review, after the Valentine’s Day shooting in Parkland, Florida, James stated, “We’ve seen these schools and these tragedies happen in America, and there’s been no change to gun control,” adding, “To the families in Parkland, down in Broward County, it’s sad and I’m sorry and it’s just a tragedy and I hope we don’t continue to see this because it’s too many in the last 10 years with guns.”

After 5-month-old Aavielle Wakefield was shot to death in Cleveland in 2015, James stated,“Obviously you’re not going to be able to take every gun out, I don’t know how you can do that. There’s so many around now, today. But if there’s some stipulations behind it or some penalties, some big time penalties or rules or regulations about carrying firearms, legal or illegal, people will second-guess themselves.”

But those remarks do seem at cross-purposes with these videos of James enjoying shooting in 2014 at the Lock & Load Miami gun range. Here’s James with an H&K MP5:
